disciple making
in your community

Contact people about participating in a weekly discipleship group for one year. We recommend using the workbook "The Call for Radical Discipleship" with its 39 weekly lessons based on the Sermon on the Mount. The group begins meeting when 2 to 4 people commit to:

  1. Weekly lesson preparation, attendance, and participation AND

  2. Praying about forming and guiding another discipleship group within the next year.

At each weekly meeting, you guide discussion using the questions which have been pre-answered by all participants based on the workbook teaching notes for that week.

your disciple starts the next generation

By Week 19 of every generation, the guide is asking participants about forming and guiding the next generation of discipleship groups. Part of the discussion involves the Vision for Discipleship. Those interested begin contacting people immediately about participating in a weekly group to do the same thing that your group has been modeling.  The group begins meeting when 2 to 4 people commit to:

1.Weekly lesson preparation, attendance, and participation AND

2.Praying about forming and leading another discipleship group.

The disciple forms and guides the new group while continuing to participate in the old group. The old group prays for the new guide and holds him/her accountable to complete all the sessions with both groups.  As the number of disciples and groups increase, God will keep His Isaiah 55.11 promise.
