Dale and Beth were married on June 27,1987 in his parents backyard in Pollock, Louisiana. They have five children and two grandchildren. 

​

Dale grew up in central Louisiana, where he enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and playing basketball. He completed law school at LSU in 1982 and worked as a lawyer in Louisiana until 1998. During this time, he also served in the Louisiana House of Representatives and the Army National Guard.

​

Beth is from Waco, Texas, and graduated from Baylor University in 1982. She became a single mom in1985 after her first husband died in a car crash. Beth is a Stage 3 breast cancer survivor since 2010 and overcame the disease without chemotherapy or radiation.

​

In 1998, Dale and Beth started working with Campus Crusade for Christ, dedicating 19 years to spreading the gospel to people who hadn't heard it. In May 2019, they founded a non-profit organization called Jesus Said Go. This ministry focuses on planning and organizing projects to make disciples and plant churches in West Africa.  They currently live in Waco, Texas. Learn more

Tragically, on July 26, 2017, their youngest son, Samuel, age 19, was killed by a hitchhiker that he tried to help. The family looks forward to reuniting one day. Beth has shared Samuel's story in her book titled Samuel’s Song: A Story of Rescue & Redemption.
